夢の鏡に

It was a lovely evening tonight. I had simply forgotten how much I love this man's voice and stage presence. And he sounds every bit as wonderful now in live concert as he did in the many opera recordings I have. And he sung some of my most favourite things which was a major plus. From Otello to the Valkyrie to Lehar and South Pacific and finally those wonderful Spanish zarzuellas. And the soprano accompnying him had the loveliest soft high notes and the greatest ease in changing the volume, which is always an amazing thing.
So much for the concert. Time for Heat 21. Then bed...
